spend in volunteering and still keep some balance and if we want
to give back to our community, it makes sense to do it where you

Volunteers are essential to the success of the many
programs and services Neighbor to Neighbor offers to the community.
By volunteering you can make a positive difference in lives of others.
Volunteers bring experience, compassion and the ability to reach
out their hands and hearts to help those who are in need.
As a volunteer at Neighbor to Neighbor volunteers
will:
- Meet new people
- Gain interesting life experiences
- Learn new skills
- Give back to the community
- Have fun
A variety of volunteer opportunities are available
at Neighbor to Neighbor including:
- Food shelf assistants
- Office, computer, mailing assistants
- Development/communications assistants
- Drivers
- Clinic greeters
- Special event planning and implementation

Immediate volunteer openings:

| Foodshelf |
Workers are needed at the Mount Airy and North End
Multi Service Center. Duties include stocking shelves and distributing
food to participants. Call Gale Ribar at (651) 407-0990 extension
122 if you can help.

| Clerical
Support |
White Bear Lake offices could use help with data entry,
file management, copying and other general office work. Time commitment
is flexible. Call Margaret Yach at (651) 407-0990 extension 129 if
you can help. |
| Marketing
Committee |
Committee Members are needed to help plan, document
and execute an up-to-date marketing plan for Neighbor to Neighbor.
Approximately two hours per week. Call Margaret Yach at (651) 407-0990
extension 129 for more information. |
| Office Assistant |
We need at the White Bear Lake office. Help with
simple office work: filing, collating, answering phones, mailings
and various other duties. No computer skills are needed. Hours are
flexible If you are interested call (651) 407-0990. |
| Caring Tree Assistant |
The Caring Assistant would help in the Caring Tree
Program at Maplewood and/or Har Mar Mall. This program provides
"back to school" supplies for children in need. This volunteer opportunity
is flexible and some of the duties could be done from home. If you
